Living Resiliently in Uncertain Times9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Email Margaret Emerson to register.
We are living in uncertain, turbulent times. Many of us are anxious about how we will navigate our lives amidst increasingly unstable economic and social structures, or how we’ll prepare ourselves and our loved ones for an era unlike anything we have ever experienced as humans.
Through a combination of mythical storytelling, discussion, mindfulness practices in nature, and practical “inner tools” for cultivating resilience, you’ll:
- Empower yourself to feel resourceful and grounded in a future plagued in uncertainty.
- Create a sense of inner peace and forge a contemplative relationship with nature.
- Connect meaningfully with other like-minded people who share your concerns and passions about the state of the world.
Carolyn Baker, Ph.D. is a storyteller, drummer, and a student of myth and ritual. She is the author of Navigating the Coming Chaos: A Handbook for Inner Transition, and Sacred Demise. Carolyn maintains a Transition Counseling/Coaching practice.
Margaret Emerson, MA has a masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology, Ecopsychology, and is author of Contemplative Hiking Along the Colorado Front Range. She’s a freelance writer, designer, and a facilitator of contemplative group hikes and nature retreats.
