Where were you in your video, somewhere in Colorado perhaps? Very bueatiful scenery 🙂
“Somewhere in Colorado perhaps?” 🙂 Absolutely. I was not that far from where I live. It was at the end of Table Mesa Road in Boulder as one travels up toward the National Center For Atmospheric Research (NCAR)—one of the top climate research facilities in the nation. How appropriate, yes? It will be interesting to see how the same view looks in 20 years.
I see where you were at, research center on the little hill. Looks like some cool trails heading up into those rocky mountains running by the big white tank next to Table Mesa Dr, just east of the center. Looks like a good place to go for a hike 🙂
At a loss for words,

Ya see, here’s the deal – it’s all about comfort. This creature loves comfort – cozy. That’s what she taught me.
Well, death of a species is not comfy. And since you know about it, you are not comfy.
Now, if you want to seek out some remedy for that discomfort, power to you, honey.
But, please, remember, there never was a promise of comfort. And, please remember, that you don’t have to be comfortable to survive – you merely [mostly] must keep from freezing to death.

ps carolyn has posted the “when will we know when the balloons goes up” posts. Oh, my, wasn’t most of that a crock o’ sheet rock? More on that later. me
Sorry Mike, for me it’s not all about comfort at all. In fact, it’s all ABOUT suffering, but not the meaningless kind. Yes, there IS another kind. Do I hear a boatload of anger and cynicism here and projecting on me a whole crock of stuff I haven’t said or written? Hmmm.
No, ma’am, no crock on you.
The crock is this…
The masses will never be allowed to know when the balloon goes up.
So, after all of the wonderful, sincerely wonderful, prognostications of some wonderful thinkers, the simple answer is obvious, we have no way of knowing when the balloon goes up.
But I have a couple of places to watch. One of them is MERS.
